Hello El Oro Way Charter for Enriched Studies Learning Community,
I’d like to thank those of you who have already participated in the selection of the next principal to our school by filling out the El Oro Way Principal 2026-2027 Input Form sent out previously. The selection committee will consider your input as they conduct interviews next week. Please fill it out if you have not yet done so. We are also adding the opportunity for you to provide your input directly to Director Yoo. You are invited to:

Thank you also the parents who participated in our last Parent Center Training on Thursday around the topics of cybersecurity for our children and learning from our school counselor, Ms. Ibarra about supporting our children through their developmental stages.
Open House is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Teachers and students have worked hard to prepare for this annual showcase so please plan to attend. Please be reminded that your children are to stay with you at all times.
PTA is holding a Book Fair next week, so be sure to stop by after school Tuesday (1:30pm - 2:30pm), Wednesday (2:30pm - 3:30pm) and Thursday (1:00pm - 5:00pm.)
Summer School
The TK-7 Summer School program will be offered in person and is designed to support core instruction primarily in English Language Arts and Math, and provide targeted academic intervention in small group settings. The district is also offering extended care (Beyond the Bell) after school until 6 pm!
DATES / TIMES:
Beyond the Bell (BTB) ONLY: June 15 - June 18, 8am - 6pm (no school June 19 holiday - closed)
Summer School AND BTB: June 22 – July 20, 8:30am - 12:20pm (no school July 3 holiday - closed); BTB offered from 12:20pm - 6:00pm
Beyond the Bell (BTB) ONLY Dates: July 21 - July 24, 8am - 6pm

Darby Avenue Elementary; Danube Avenue Elementary; and Mayall Academy

BTB Application: Complete the application and bring it on the first day of the summer program to submit to the BTB program staff.
